Decontamination of the discharge pipe at sea

Between 2005 and 2009, a new control booth was built in place of the older booth dating back to the Eighties.
The new control booth was placed 200 metres far from the foreshore. Works have also involved the reclamation of some portions of the old pipe, both on the ground and at sea.
In August 2008, a new portion of the pipe connecting the new booth to the discharge pipe at sea has been installed, thus, replacing part of the old pipe which was sent to treatment and decontamination.
