The Sogin Group’s 2022 Sustainability Report is now online

Our 2022 Sustainability Report, approved by Corporate Governance on 26 June at the same time as the draft annual report, is online at
sogin.it and
nucleco.it .
The document, prepared by adopting the "in accordance" option of the the Global Reporting Initiative's Sustainability Reporting Standards, is for Sogin a fundamental tool for transparency and communication with its stakeholders that enhances the Company's commitment to achieving sustainable development goals.
The
Sustainability Report is also the Group's main information document and is the result of teamwork involving dozens of colleagues from sites and headquarters over the past few months, who all deserve our thanks.
Some of the main changes in the 2022 edition are the submission to the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security of the proposed National Map of Suitable Areas to host the National Repository, the implementation of technological innovation and research projects applied to decommissioning, the approval of the Group's first sustainability plan, and the reopening of our plants to over 600 people, mainly students, who were able to appreciate the complexity and value of our work.
Together with the 2022 Sustainability Report, a short questionnaire is also online, available at this
link, to collect suggestions and opinions aimed at making the document more in line with stakeholders' expectations and needs.
