The second meeting of the National Seminar

It was held today, live streaming, the national session of the National Seminar on the location of the National Repository and Technology Park, which followed the opening plenary session of last 7 September.
The working day, moderated by Iolanda Romano, an expert in participatory processes and public debate, was divided into two moments.
Experts from various sectors took part in the morning and contributed with insights on the various aspects related to the National Repository and Technology Park location.
Speakers included Antonio Ragonesi, Head of International Relations, Security, Legality and Civil Rights, Civil Service and Equal Opportunities, Environmental Risks and Civil Protection of ANCI - Association of Italian Municipalities; Mario Dionisi, Technical Coordinator of the Radioactive Waste Service of ISIN - National Inspectorate for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection; Nadia Cherubini, President of Nucleco; Sergio Achille, President of Assodima - National Association of Disaster Managers; Carlo De Masi, President of Adiconsum; Matteo Passoni, Coordinator of the master's degree course in Nuclear Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and Fabio Chiaravalli, Director of Sogin's National Repository and Technology Park.
The afternoon session, dedicated to the discussion with stakeholders, allowed the stakeholders qualified to participate in the National Seminar to participate in the debate with their own intervention.
