Sogin starts restructuring the procurement business processes with Domenico Casalino

Sogin announces the launch of a programme to reorganise corporate procurement processes, aimed at improving their performance, with the support of Domenico Casalino, one of Italy's leading experts in the strategy and organisation of public procurements.
The programme analyses and updates customer processes with the aim of pursuing maximum quality and efficiency and expanding the company's prospects.
Domenico Casalino will support Sogin to identify the best organisational and technical solutions for managing the procurement process, simplify and automate the digital process, reducing management time and costs, while increasing the Company’s efficiency and effectiveness. His contribution will be essential to ensuring know-how, skills and technological innovation.
Domenico Casalino, graduated in economics, and his career includes positions as the Director of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and ENAV, the National Society of Flight Assistance Services; he was a Board member and CEO of numerous public and private companies, including Consip, the National Centre for Public Administration Procurement where among other things, he introduced the Emergency Procurement Consip - Department of Civil Protection programme; he acts as a consultant to numerous public and private structures, including the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and SACE. He is a contract lecturer in Procurement Strategy at the Luiss Business School and Director and contract lecturer of the Executive Course in Bid and Proposal Management. He is a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and a meritorious member of the Italian Red Cross.
