SME DAY 2021: 122 students in class with Sogin

Once again, this year Sogin took part in the
SME DAY, the national day for small and medium-sized enterprises organised by Confindustria, now in its 12th Edition.
To mark the occasion, Sogin virtually opened the doors of the Trino plant to 122 students from the Galileo Galilei Institute in Santhià (Vercelli) and the Bonfantini Institute in Novara. In particular, Davide Galli, Operation Manager of Trino and Bosco Marengo and Decommissioning Manager of Trino, told the students of classes 5A, 5B and 5C of Galileo Galilei and 4A and 4C of Bonfantini about Sogin's history and work, illustrating the decommissioning and radioactive waste management projects carried out and underway at the Piedmont nuclear power plant.
Sogin confirms its commitment to sustainable development, contributing in particular to the achievement of
Goal 4 – Quality Education - of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
