Publication of the National Map of Potentially Suitable Areas

As provided for by Italian Decree Law No. 31 of 2010, upon approval of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) and the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea (MATTM), 5 January 2021 saw Sogin publish the National Map of Potentially Suitable Areas (CNAPI) for hosting the National Radioactive Waste Repository and the Technology Park on the website www.depositonazionale.it, together with the preliminary project and all related documents.
Said publication, which was announced in five national newspapers, launched the public consultation period, as provided for by Italian Decree Law No. 31/2010.
