PoliMi students visiting Caorso

On 9 September, the Caorso power plant welcomed around 80 students and lecturers participating in the International Master's in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design at the School of Architecture of the
Politecnico di Milano/Campus of Piacenza for a guided tour of the area surrounding the facility.
The tour allowed students to observe, guided by colleagues from the site, the landscape characteristics of the Po River area where the power station is located, stimulating their reflections to design solutions to the issues of the climate emergency, resource consumption and renaturation.
The visit to the power plant is part of the activities of the International Summer School entitled
The Landscape Of[f] Limits 2023, aimed at exchanging experiences and benchmarking knowledge on water and energy resources and their interaction with the landscape, organised by the Politecnico di Milano for students, lecturers and professionals from all over the world who are participating in the Master's programme.
As part of the project, Sogin also participated in the opening day of the Summer School, on 4 September, with a short company presentation and a focus on the activities of the Caorso power plant.
