Maintenance of EMAS registration obtained for the Caorso plant

In February 2022, Sogin obtained continued
EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme)
registration for the Caorso plant from the EMAS Committee.
The process was concluded thanks to Sogin's constant commitment to improve and report on its environmental activities and performance, in line with the best ecological management standards required by E.C. Regulation no.1221/2009, as amended by E.U. Regulation no.1505/2017 and E.U. Regulation no.2026/2018.
The Environmental Statement, validated by an external Verification Body and submitted for approval to the EMAS Committee, represents one of the transparency and information tools adopted by Sogin towards its various stakeholders interested in knowing the Company's mission and its commitment to environmental protection.
