Giovanni Ciuffarella, the new Chairman of the Sogin Board of Statutory Auditors

On 5 September, Sogin's Shareholders' Meeting appointed Giovanni Ciuffarella as the new Chairman of the Company's Board of Statutory Auditors
Giovanni Ciuffarella, director at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, has extensive experience as Chairman and member of Boards of Statutory Auditors and Auditing Boards, as well as other collegiate bodies, in both private and public entities.
Mr Ciuffarella succeeds Prof. Angelo Miglietta, who resigned on 31 January 2024, and will remain in office until the expiry of the current Board of Statutory Auditors’ mandate, i.e. until the date when the 2025 financial statements will be approved.
Sogin would like to thank Mr Vittorio Pella who covered the role of Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors during the interim period, and who remains as a statutory auditor together with Ms Concetta D’Alonzo. We also extend our thanks to Ms Luisa Foti, who during the same period, acted as Statutory Auditor and now returns to the role of alternate auditor together with Mr Marco Canzanella.
