Second Transparency Table of the Piedmont Region on the National Repository

Yesterday afternoon saw the holding in digital mode of the second information meeting of the Transparency Table of the Piedmont Region, which was convened by Matteo Marnati, Councillor for the Environment, to discuss the National Radioactive Waste Repository and the Technology Park. During the meeting, the aspects concerning the social and economic consequences of the infrastructure were discussed in detail.
Upon invitation by the Region, this second meeting was also attended by representatives of the Local Authorities (Provinces and Municipalities) whose territories contain potentially suitable areas as identified in the CNAPI, as well as Sogin and representatives of the Authorities, Local Bodies and associations of the area affected by the presence of nuclear sites in the decommissioning phase.
