Remediation, Sogin-Sogesid strategic partnership for environmental reclamation

This morning Gian Luca Artizzu, CEO of Sogin, and Errico Stravato, CEO of Sogesid, signed a Framework Agreement that strengthens the collaboration between the two Companies, to address the challenges of remediation, reclamation and environmental restoration more quickly and effectively.
The partnership combines the expertise of Sogin, the public company specialising in nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management, and Sogesid, the State Engineering Company, specialising in remediation of contaminated areas, water resource management and environmental infrastructure in International Cooperation.
The new Agreement provides for joint participation in national and international initiatives requiring advanced technical expertise, thereby increasing the competitiveness of applications and the capacity to intervene in complex projects.
It is also possible to directly use technical-specialist services, guaranteeing operational speed and efficiency in the execution of works. With this agreement, Sogin and Sogesid reinforce their shared commitment to promoting Italy's presence in international remediation projects.
